“Lamp” is one of the objects in the “Anti-Design” Collection tthat exports the relationship between people and objects when objects no longer serve their traditional functions. The lamp looks like three stand-alone and traditional lights standing side by side. Each lamp has a separate lamp holder and switch, and only the lampshade appears to be connected.

This lamp is designed for people who are used to pressing a switch on standard lamps to control light. People may expect the switch to control each light separately, however, the switches and lights within this lamp connect together on the inside in an unpredictable manner. When people push one switch, that switch will randomly turn on one or more lights. The lamp challenges how a designed object affects people's expectations about daily life objects.
